MTCO was acquired by MCC Network Services, LLC, doing business as Metro and Conxxus, effective January 2, 2026, and currently operates under the MTCO powered by Conxxus name Job Summary MTCO powered by Conxxus is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Operations Manager - Fiber & Broadband Services to help oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of fiber-optic internet, broadband, Wi-Fi, telephone, and related telecommunications services. This senior-level position coordinates people, processes, service activities, and operational priorities to help ensure customers receive reliable service and that installations, service requests, maintenance activities, and operational projects are completed efficiently and according to established standards. Responsibilities Oversee daily operational activities supporting fiber broadband, internet, Wi-Fi, telephone, and related telecommunications services. Coordinate service delivery activities across technical, field service, customer support, and administrative teams. Monitor installation, activation, repair, maintenance, and service-request workflows to help ensure timely completion. Review operational priorities and allocate resources based on customer needs, service requirements, staffing, and scheduled work. Coordinate with field technicians and technical personnel regarding installations, service calls, equipment issues, and maintenance activities. Monitor outstanding service orders and help identify delays, scheduling conflicts, or operational bottlenecks. Work with customer service teams to resolve operational issues that affect customer accounts or service delivery. Help establish and maintain procedures for efficient telecommunications service operations. Track operational performance, service completion, turnaround times, work orders, and other relevant metrics. Identify recurring operational problems and recommend practical improvements. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, equipment providers, and other external partners when necessary. Support planning and execution of fiber and broadband service expansion activities. Help coordinate operational requirements associated with new service areas, network upgrades, and infrastructure projects. Assist with equipment, inventory, and resource planning for telecommunications operations. Review service-related documentation and ensure operational records are maintained accurately. Support compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, service standards, and applicable telecommunications practices. Participate in operational planning meetings and provide management with updates regarding staffing, workload, service issues, and project progress. Develop and maintain effective working relationships across customer service, technical support, field operations, sales, and management. Requirements 4-7 years of experience in telecommunications, broadband, fiber, field service, utilities, technical operations, or a closely related industry. Experience with fiber-optic broadband or Internet Service Provider operations. Familiarity with fiber installation, customer-premises equipment, broadband service activation, or telecommunications field service. Experience coordinating technicians or field service teams. Experience with network or telecommunications service work orders. Previous experience supervising employees, technicians, field personnel, or service operations. Strong understanding of operational workflows and service delivery processes. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical personnel.
