As our Social Media & Community Engagement Specialist, you'll be the creative force behind our social media presence while also taking our brand into the community through events, partnerships, and public relations. Some of the key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Organic Social Media Develop, manage, and execute HLG's social media strategy across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging channels. Create and schedule engaging original content including graphics, short-form video, client spotlights, legal tips, and firm news. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to maintain an active and professional online presence. Track and report on social media analytics, using data to refine strategy and demonstrate ROI. Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in legal marketing. Community Events Plan, coordinate, and execute HLG's participation in community events, sponsorships, and firm-hosted programs statewide. Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, nonprofits, chambers of commerce, and civic groups. Manage event logistics from initial concept through execution, including vendor coordination, collateral, staffing, and post-event follow-up. Identify new events and sponsorship opportunities that align with the firm's brand and community values. Public Relations & Brand Engagements Support media relations efforts including drafting press releases, responding to media inquiries, and coordinating interviews or features. Coordinate attorney speaking engagements, award submissions, and thought leadership opportunities. Maintain consistent brand messaging across all public-facing communications. Assist with crisis communications as needed in coordination with firm leadership.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field. 3+ years of experience in social media management, marketing communications, PR, or a closely related role. Strong communication skills and writing skills, with an eye for detail and storytelling. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to create engaging content independently across multiple platforms.
