Job Description
Responsibilities Cultivate and sustain relationships with donors, volunteers, community partners, and stakeholders to strengthen engagement with the organization's mission. Support and help lead fundraising efforts, including individual giving campaigns, donor engagement strategies, and community initiatives. Write, edit, and develop content for newsletters, fundraising appeals, grant proposals, reports, website, and social media, ensuring a clear and consistent voice. Collaborate with program staff to translate impact stories and outcomes into engaging communications for donors and the broader community. Manage donor relations, including maintaining the database, tracking contributions, coordinating acknowledgments, and supporting stewardship. Plan and coordinate community outreach and fundraising events, including logistics, promotion, and follow-up. Expand organizational visibility through outreach to media, community networks, and public-facing opportunities. Prepare fundraising reports, track progress toward goals, and develop materials for leadership and board engagement.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, such as fundraising, development, or communications in a nonprofit setting.Skills and Abilities:
Leadership ability with exemplary interpersonal, verbal, listening and written communication skills. Partners internally and externally with others to develop the organization; open, friendly and comfortable with diverse groups; networks effectively and establishes long-term relationships with the community. Works successfully on teams and strives for optimum results; resolves conflict; promotes cooperation, commitment, momentum and pride; puts success of team above own interests. Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong skills in planning and problem-solving. Capable of directing and working effectively with donors, volunteers, staff and committees in a wide range of activities while under pressure and/or deadlines. Grant writing or grant management experience is a plus. Knowledge of Chinese cultures, speaks Chinese Mandarin is a plus.Job Type:
