$70,000 annually plus stipend Reports to: Founder and Executive Director About CAP The Coalition of American Production (CAP) is a growing national organization working to strengthen and expand film and television production in the United States. CAP brings together companies and industry leaders from across the country to advocate for policies that support U.S.-based production, jobs, businesses, and investment. We are seeking a smart, energetic, highly organized Operations & Membership Coordinator who wants to become an important part of CAP as we continue to grow our membership, national presence, and advocacy efforts. The Opportunity This position goes beyond traditional administrative support. The Operations & Membership Coordinator will be at the center of CAP's day-to-day activities, working directly with our Founder, Executive Director, Board members, member companies, lobbyists, PR and marketing teams, and film and television industry leaders from across the country. The ideal candidate enjoys making things happen—organizing meetings and events, communicating with members, keeping projects on schedule, solving problems, and helping a growing organization stay organized and move forward. What You'll DoMembership & Industry Support Welcome and onboard new CAP members. Maintain membership information, databases, invoicing, and communications. Assist with researching and identifying prospective members. Communicate regularly with CAP members and industry partners. Help maintain strong relationships with members as the organization continues to grow. Meetings & Executive Support Coordinate Executive Board, Advisory Board, membership, and lobbying meetings. Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and minutes. Track action items and follow-up responsibilities. Maintain CAP's master calendar. Assist the Founder and Executive Director with scheduling, travel, and special projects. Events & Advocacy Help organize CAP events in major film and television markets across the country. Coordinate invitations, RSVPs, venues, catering, vendors, schedules, and other event logistics. Support CAP's Washington, D.C. advocacy activities and coordination with its lobbying team. Track relevant news, research, statistics, and developments affecting U.S. film and television production. Communications & Operations Coordinate communications among CAP leadership, members, lobbyists, finance, marketing, and PR partners. Assist with CAP's website, social media, email communications, and digital platforms. Maintain organizational files, membership lists, templates, databases, and other CAP resources. Help ensure projects, meetings, events, and communications are completed accurately and on time. Financial & Administrative Support Work with CAP's Treasurer and finance team on membership invoicing and payment tracking. Assist with invoices, expenses, credit card reconciliation, and financial documentation. Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers. Maintain accurate administrative and organizational records. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. Energetic, positive, proactive, and willing to take initiative. An excellent written and verbal communicator. Comfortable interacting with senior executives, Board members, business owners, lobbyists, and industry professionals. Able to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. Interested in the film and television industry and the future of American production. Comfortable using technology, digital platforms, and AI tools. Someone who enjoys being part of a small team where everyone is willing to jump in and help. Experience in the film and television industry, trade associations, nonprofits, government affairs, events, communications, or membership organizations is a strong plus. Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, CRM platforms, Mailchimp, Squarespace, Stripe, AI tools, and social media platforms is helpful. Why Join CAP?
