Job Description

We're building something meaningful here at V Shred, a platform that helps real people get healthier, stay accountable, and actually hit their goals. Salesforce is going to be the backbone of how we do that at scale, connecting our customer service team, our coaches and trainers, and our clients in one unified system. This is our first dedicated Salesforce hire, and that means you'll have genuine ownership. You'll be the person who decides how this platform gets built
  • not just executing a spec someone else wrote, but making the architectural calls that will shape how we operate for years to come. That's exciting if you're the kind of person who wants to leave a mark. It's also a real responsibility, and we're looking for someone who takes that seriously. You'll lead a blended team
  • working alongside contractors who will handle execution
  • so the ability to direct, review, and uplift a distributed team is just as important as your technical depth.
What You'll Be Building We've procured Salesforce Service Cloud and have real ambitions around Agentforce and Data Cloud. Here's the shape of what you're walking into: Customer Service Case management and routing for a mid-sized team of live agents Service console configuration, SLA management, and omnichannel setup Agentforce Agents to be the first point of contact across voice, chat, social DMs, email, web to case Agentforce automations to help agents work faster and smarter Coaching & Training Set up to support a large team of coaches managing client exercise and diet programs. Client progress tracking, coach assignment workflows, and program management AI-assisted prompts to flag disengaged clients and support proactive outreach Agentforce AI automations for sales closer call scoring and analytics. Data & Intelligence Salesforce Data Cloud as our customer CDP
  • unifying service, coaching, digital programs, supplement purchase data into a single customer unified profile Agentforce grounded in real customer context, not generic responses Thoughtful data governance from day one
  • we handle sensitive data and we take that seriously. What We Need From You We're not looking for a generalist who's touched Salesforce a few times. We need someone who has been in the weeds
  • who has made hard architectural decisions, cleaned up messy data models, and built AI features that actually behaved the way they were supposed to.
More specifically:
You've led at least one full Salesforce implementation end to end
  • from initial design through go-live You've worked with Agentforce and Einstein for Service and you understand how to build guardrails into AI features, not just turn them on You have real experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or another enterprise CDP
  • you know what good data modeling looks like and what happens when it's done badly You've designed custom object models for non-standard use cases like coaching workflows that may not be in any Salesforce template You've led offshore or distributed delivery teams
  • you know how to write work that can be executed remotely, how to review it properly, and how to keep quality high without micromanaging You hold
  • or are close to
  • a Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant or Application Architect certification You're comfortable operating with a lean team and a degree of ambiguity.
We're a growing health and wellness company, not a Fortune 500 with an army of BAs and project managers You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. One Thing We Want to Be Upfront About We're in health and wellness. Our coaches work with clients on diet and exercise programs. We sell supplements. When we put AI into that context, we have a responsibility to get it right. One of your first deliverables will be a data governance and AI use policy
  • a clear framework for what data feeds our AI models, what Agentforce agents can and can't recommend, and where human judgment has to stay in the loop.
This isn't a compliance checkbox. It's foundational to how we build trust with our clients and protect our business. If that kind of thinking energizes you rather than slowing you down, you'll fit in well here. What Success Looks Like In your first 90 days, we'd want you to: Have a deep understanding of our two business functions and fit-gap what has been built and what they still need from the platform Produce a clear architecture document that defines our data model, integration approach, and Agentforce strategy Have a data governance framework drafted and socialized Be running the offshore team with clear processes and quality standards in place By the end of year one, the platform should be driving >50% containment rates via Agentforce Agents, high first contact resolution across customer service, with Data Cloud unifying customer-client data and supporting models for LTV and churn prediction, and marketing activations in at least one channel. Why This Role Real ownership
  • you're not the fifth architect on a mature platform. You're building it. A technology stack that's genuinely interesting
  • Agentforce and Data Cloud are still early enough that you'll be figuring things out, not just following a playbook A mission that matters
  • we're helping people build healthier lives, and the platform you build directly enables that A leadership path
  • as the company grows, this role grows with it If this sounds like the kind of challenge you've been looking for, we'd love to hear from you.
