We are a growing energy-storage startup in Woburn, Massachusetts, developing safe, sustainable grid-scale energy storage technology. This role is ideal for someone who can turn technical work into clear, engaging content for a broader audience. This position may be structured as either a part-time W-2 role or an independent contractor engagement, depending on the candidate and final scope of work. What You'll Do Develop and manage a consistent social media content Create, write, and publish content for LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant platforms Take photos and short videos of our team, facility, equipment, testing, and company events Turn technical updates into accessible, engaging posts Highlight company milestones, partnerships, hiring initiatives, and community involvement Help develop Capybara Energy's brand voice and visual style Monitor engagement and recommend ways to improve our reach Coordinate with employees to gather information and identify content opportunities Track basic performance metrics and provide periodic updates Assist with occasional website, event, or recruiting content as needed What We're Looking For Experience managing social media for a company, organization, or professional brand Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills Experience creating professional photos, graphics, and short-form video Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media scheduling or analytics tools Ability to understand technical information and explain it in plain language Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently Good judgment when handling confidential or not-yet-public company information Reliable communication and follow-through Experience working with a startup, clean-energy company, engineering organization, or other technical business is helpful but not required.
