Exempt SiEnergy Gas, LLC, a subsidiary of Northwest Natural Holding Company, serves nearly 100,000 customers across Texas and is seeking a Communications Program Manager to lead internal and external communications that support regulatory compliance, community relationships, stakeholder engagement, business growth, and the Company's public reputation. The position works closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure communications are accurate, timely, professional, and aligned with Company objectives. Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic, integrated communications across media relations, social media, internal board and executives, customer communications, municipal engagement, regulatory proceedings, emergency response, business development initiatives, employee communications, community outreach, and corporate reputation management while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership on messaging, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement.
- Create and manage a broad range of communications materials, often translating complex details related to utility work into accessible information for broad audiences.
- Identify messaging and brand reputation risks and opportunities. Create and maintain a company content calendar. Track and analyze effectiveness of messaging via best-practice metrics. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, public affairs, business, political science, or a related field, plus five or more years of professional experience in communications, public affairs, media relations, corporate communications, government affairs, public relations, utility communications, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and project management skills; ability to communicate complex technical, operational, legal, and regulatory topics to diverse audiences; proficiency with Microsoft Office; specifically, PowerPoint, Microsoft Copilot and social media platforms; strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail; and the ability to build credibility with executives, regulators, municipalities, customers, media, developers, builders, and community stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, initiatives and stakeholder needs. Capable of responding to high-intensity, emergent situations without advance notice.
- Ability to monitor and understand the Company's strategy and goals, and ability to translate those into board-level presentation materials. Work Environment
- Full-time position based in Bee Cave, Texas, supporting communications across SiEnergy's service territories with periodic travel and occasional after-hours responsibilities for emergencies, public meetings, media matters, and other time-sensitive events.
