Our luxury senior living community in Plano, TX, is dedicated to creating an environment where residents feel welcomed, valued, connected, and supported in every aspect of life. As part of the Forefront Living family, we are committed to making every moment matter. The Senior Living Advisor is responsible for assisting the Residential Sales Director with all aspects of the sales process such as scheduling appointments, assist with personal visits with prospective residents, lead base management, community events and community awareness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Models a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, patients, and co-workers. Maintain good attendance record. Responsible for meeting with prospects and their families and presenting programs and services of The Outlook at Windhaven Maintains referral development and prospect files. Telemarketing with potential leads and qualified prospects Communicates Forefront Living/The Outlook at Windhaven's mission through public speaking, membership, and participation in community events. Meet and exceed sales goals. Manage budget and meet financial goals. Routinely review and update contact databases to identify and follow up on leads from all sources. Assist in identifying innovative events and methods to increase visitation of targeted groups. Conduct tours for our community, including multi-floors and inside and outside properties. Obtain and maintain knowledge of competitors. Lead the development and implementation of community marketing plans, including calling or meeting organizations. Recruit new residents, including independent living and assisted living. Communicate with inquiries regarding community, levels of care, facility requirements and admission process. Complete resident applications paperwork, including verifying financial eligibility. Complete residency paperwork with approved residents and distribute information to appropriate personnel. Prepare weekly reports as required, i.e., daily census, move-ins, resident listings, etc. Ensure resident/patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards Other responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required; with a background in sales and marketing required. Minimum five years in Sales/Leasing, admissions, marketing, or community relations experience (AL, IL and CCRC sales experience preferred). Experience with retirement housing or related work within the senior living industries preferred. Experience selling and working with affluent clientele. High energy level, abundant self-confidence, need to succeed, results driven. Proven successful track record in sales and marketing (established portfolio of clientele) Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower teammates to attain objectives with a team approach. Knowledge of marketing concepts with senior adults and an understanding of hospitality and retirement community lifestyle Excellent time management skills Ability to build effective networking relationships. Excellent people skills, including ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally and in public situations. Ability to identify, meet, and exceed customer needs and expectations and ability to identify and create market opportunities. Ability to work independently. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Computer skills, including a high level of comfort in managing a team's use of CRM for lead and customer management. Genuine caring for and interest in the care of mature adults. Ability to maintain a high level of performance in an environment of frequent demands and changes. Ability to perform work tasks within the Physical Demand Requirements as outlined below. Ability to comply with the Resident Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities Ability to comply with organizational and departmental safety policies and procedures.
WORK CLIMATE
Primarily indoors, with outside tours and/or travel to area events.
WORK PACE
Fast-paced, self-directed requiring the ability to think and act quickly with efficiency an accuracy, emotionally demanding work setting.
