Want to gain real-world communications experience while gaining firsthand experience in local government and exploring local government career opportunities? Join the City Manager's Office as a Communications Intern and help promote City services, projects, initiatives, accomplishments, and events through engaging digital communications and community outreach. You'll develop professional writing, editing, and organizational skills while working closely with the City's senior management team.
Requirements:
Current or recent enrollment at a college or university in a marketing, business, communication and journalism, political science, or a related field Must have experience using Canva or other design software and Microsoft Office software, specifically
Word Length of Internship:
Approximately 20 hours per week for 20 weeks, flexible scheduling Monday through Friday.
Wage:
$19.59 per hour.
