Job Description
- Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Welcome new members and guide them through the onboarding process.
- Provide member portal training and support to new and existing members.
- Conduct regular member outreach to increase engagement and encourage participation in Chamber programs.
- Support membership retention through proactive communication and relationship building.
- Maintain accurate member records within the Chamber's membership database.
- Coordinate ribbon cuttings, milestones, member spotlights, and other member recognition opportunities.
- Help identify opportunities to increase member value and satisfaction. Communications & Marketing
- Develop and distribute regular member communications, including newsletters, email campaigns, and announcements.
- Format and distribute the Chamber's Monthly E-Magazine.
- Assist in keeping the website and member information current.
- Create and schedule social media content promoting members, events, and Chamber initiatives.
- Create marketing materials using Canva or similar design platforms.
- Ensure consistent branding across all communications. Administrative & Event Support
- Assist with planning and executing Chamber networking events, educational programs, and signature events.
- Support event registration, attendee communication, and follow-up.
- Prepare reports related to membership activity and engagement.
- Maintain organized electronic files and office records.
- Provide general administrative support to the President as needed. Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience in membership organizations, member services, membership sales, or business development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Canva.
- Experience with CRM or membership database software is preferred.
- Social media management experience and Chamber/non-profit experience is a plus! Preferred Characteristics
