Arden Hills, MN The Member Relations Communications Intern will partner with teams across Land O'Lakes to support communications and engagement initiatives that serve our member-owners. The intern's primary project will focus on: R esearching i nd ustry b e st pract ices for member - a nd customer-f acing si tes E valuating the use r expe rien ce of the Land O 'La kes mem ber-fa c i ng site I dentifying gaps and opportunities to improve content, design, navigation, and other features that enhance member value and engagement Implement ing approved content, design, and navigation updates to imp rove the member experience Throughout the summer, the Memb er Relatio ns Commu nicat ions I ntern will also support a variety of communications projects, gaining hands-on experience in c ontent development and revie w, m ember email c ommunica tions , and t r aining promotio n, while b uildi ng an understanding of the cooperative business model . This role is par t of the Mem ber Gover nance and Share d Servi ces team , which works to empower the success of our member-owners . Required Pursuing a ba chelor 's degree in Communications , Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field Sophomore st andi ng or higher (Junior preferred) Strong writing and edi ting skill s Highl y organized with the ab ility to man age multiple projects s imult aneousl y P rofi cien cy with Microsoft Office applica tions (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.) Stro ng verb al and writ ten communication skills Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above Pr evious internship or corporate work experience Knowledg e of AP Style Experience with digital marke ting tools such as S alesfor ce Marketing C loud , Canva or A dobe C reative S uite Experience with content management systems (CMS) and web content w riting About Land O'Lakes, Inc.
