$20/hour Position Summary Riverwood Community Church is looking for someone whose gifts for organization and hospitality can help our church run well and feel welcoming. As our Office & Communication Coordinator, you'll be one of the first faces and voices people encounter—setting the tone for how our church community experiences care and order behind the scenes. You'll bring structure to our office operations, creativity to our communications and marketing, and trustworthy stewardship to our financial administration. To apply, email your resume to officejob@riverwoodonline.org Key Responsibilities Front Office & Administration Staff the front desk during office hours; greet visitors, staff, and volunteers Answer and direct phone calls Monitor and respond to general church email and other communications Maintain office systems, supplies, and general administrative support for staff Communications & Marketing Manage church social media accounts (posting, scheduling, engagement) Manage church website Create graphics and visual content for bulletins, social media, signage, and events Support marketing efforts for church-wide events, ministries, and initiatives Help maintain consistent branding and messaging across platforms Perform updates and data entry using our church database platform Financial & Project Administration Perform basic data entry and check writing in QuickBooks Track and manage tasks/projects in Asana, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met Coordinate with ministry leads on administrative needs as requested by the Senior Pastor Qualifications Strong computer skills required; comfortable learning new software platforms Experience with QuickBooks, Asana, Mailchimp, Breeze, and social media management tools preferred Graphic design experience/skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly self-motivated with the ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks Friendly, professional demeanor for front-desk and phone interactions Alignment with Riverwood Community Church's mission, vision, and statement of faith
