Job Description

The Student Worker Graphic Design & Communications Specialist will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity and storytelling of the International Student Services (ISS) Office. This role focuses primarily on creating dynamic visual assets, including promotional flyers for partner schools and social media content, while actively engaging with students to capture authentic interviews and stories that highlight the campus experience.
Duties Include:
Design promotional materials Produce visual elements for social media Conduct interviews Translate student interviews Collaborate with a team Assist with lead follow up Collect and compile data.
Education:
Currently enrolled as a student at the University of Central Missouri. Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or Communications preferred but not required
Experience:
Strong background or portfolio in Graphic Design (proficiency with tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign). Experience in social media content creation and active student engagement/interviewing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines. High level of professionalism and customer service mindset.
Working Hours and Days:
Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM (20 hours a week)
