Job Description

Job Summary The Marketing and Communication Specialist supports PACE of the Triad's mission to help older adults remain independent in the homes and communities. This role develops and coordinates clear, compassionate, and compliant communications that increase awareness of PACE services, strengthen referral relationships, support enrollment goals, and promote the organization's brand across digital, print, media, and community channels. Works collaboratively with members of leadership, Intake and Outreach Teams as well as Interdisciplinary Teams.
Specifications Education and Special Training:
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
One year's experience working with elderly or frail population. Two or more years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, community outreach, or related work preferred. Experience in health care, aging services, nonprofit organizations, Medicare, Medicaid, or community-based services preferred. Experience writing for multiple audiences, including older adults, caregivers, referral sources, providers, and community partners.
Licensure, Registry or Certification Required:
Valid North Carolina driver's license and vehicle to travel locally for community events, partner meetings, and outreach activities as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, storytelling, and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex health care and enrollment information in clear, compassionate, and accessible language. Strong project management, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through. Working knowledge of social media platforms, email marketing, website content management, basic analytics, and digital marketing practices. Ability to maintain brand consistency across print, digital, media, and community communications. Ability to work collaboratively with teams and respectfully engage diverse populations. Sound judgment, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with design, email marketing, CRM, or content management tools preferred.

Position requires sitting and standing as associated within the scope of an administrative office environment; Ability to clearly see medical records and various documents. Key Responsibilities Develop, coordinate, and maintain marketing and communication materials for prospective and existing participants, caregivers, referral sources, providers, community partners, and employees. Create content for print collateral, newsletters, email campaigns, website updates, social media, presentations, press releases, event materials, and internal communications. Ensure all marketing materials are accurate, accessible, culturally appropriate, and aligned with PACE of the Triad's mission, brand voice, and regulatory requirements. Support outreach and enrollment initiatives by preparing campaign materials, talking points, referral source communications, and community education resources. Coordinate social media planning, content calendars, posting, monitoring, and engagement while maintaining professional and compliant messaging. Assist with website content updates, search visibility, digital advertising coordination, analytics tracking, and lead-generation reporting. Provides oversight of marketing vendors to monitor return on investment. Plan, promote, and support community events, open houses, health fairs, presentations, media opportunities, and stakeholder meetings. Collaborate with clinical, enrollment, operations, and leadership teams to translate complex health care information into clear, participant-centered messages. Collect stories, testimonials, photos, and program highlights in accordance with consent, privacy, and confidentiality standards. Maintain organized files of approved marketing assets, photos, templates, brand standards, and communications records. Track campaign performance, referral trends, website and social media metrics, and other communication outcomes; prepare reports and recommendations for improvement. Support crisis, operational, and internal communications as directed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Follow applicable PACE, Medicare, Medicaid, CMS, HIPAA, state, and organizational marketing and communication requirements. Ensure required approvals are obtained before distributing marketing materials or public communications. Protect participant privacy and confidential organizational information at all times. Use person-centered, respectful, and non-discriminatory language in all communications. Other duties as assigned. Environmental Factors None.
