Full Job Description Overview:
Apogee has a new and exciting opportunity for a Executive Communications & Information Governance Specialist who supports leadership by drafting and coordinating high-level communications and assisting with information governance practices. Ensures messaging is clear, aligned with leadership intent, and handled in accordance with applicable policies. •Contingent Upon Contract Award•
Responsibilities:
Draft and edit executive correspondence, talking points, and briefings for leadership. Support coordination and routing of sensitive communications for review and approval. Assist in applying information governance practices, including proper handling and documentation of sensitive/executive communications. Help prepare the monthly Directorate Communication Summary Report summarizing key executive-level exchanges and themes. Work with senior staff to ensure consistency of messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship:
Must be a US citizen
Clearance:
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance. Education /
Years of Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Policy, International Relations, Journalism, Business, or related field, with at least two (2) years' related experience . Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely for senior audiences. Strong attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information. Proficiency with standard office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, presentation software).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting senior leaders (e.g., O-6, GO/FO, SES) in DoD or IC organizations. Familiarity with records management or information governance policies. Experience preparing communication summaries or similar reporting products.
