COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE

, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) , to join a global research center working to reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence. Anchored by a network of more than a thousand affiliated researchers at universities around the world, J-PAL conducts randomized impact evaluations to answer critical questions in the fight against poverty. REQUIRED

: A B achelor's degree with some coursework in economics (econometrics, statistics, and/or quantitative analysis training is a plus); a minimum of two years of relevant work experience, may be a recent or soon-to-be graduate with related internships, or may have previous experience in communications, research, and/or international development work.

PREFERRED

: A c ommitment of three years. This is a hybrid position based in Cambridge, MA, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Staff are expected to be in the office at least two days per week. 9/4/2026
