Job Description

Idaho Counties Risk Management Program (ICRMP) is seeking a creative professional to fill a Digital Communication Specialist role The Digital Communication Specialist independently develops and delivers high-frequency digital content that drives member engagement, education, and brand awareness across social media, webinars, and learning platforms. This role owns the content lifecycle end-to-end, transforming inputs from subject matter experts, internal data, and live webinar sessions into clear, engaging content.
Primary Functions/Major Assignments include:
  • Develop digital content independently by using inputs from subject matter experts, live webinars, claims, underwriting, risk management initiatives, and internal systems
  • Maintain a consistent, high-frequency content cadence across social media, member training portal, and learning platforms
  • Plan, script, and produce short-form digital content, including video and scenario-based messaging, and educational segments designed to increase member engagement
  • Lead social media execution, including content creation, publishing, and performance monitoring
  • Host and produce webinars, guiding content delivery and capturing material for reuse
  • Develop short-form companion content for the training portal that reinforces key concepts and directs members to full-length sessions
  • Validate content with subject matter experts while maintaining ownership of final output
  • Adjust quickly to changing priorities, feedback, and multi-level approvals
  • Own content lifecycle end-to-end from concept through publication and ongoing refinement
  • Ensure alignment with organizational priorities, messaging standards, and regulatory considerations The Ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally
  • Work independently with minimal direction while collaborating with subject matter experts and internal teams
  • Produce, edit, and publish digital content across platforms
  • Design clean, effective visuals that support member engagement
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Use internal data to identify relevant topics and develop timely content
  • Learn and apply new tools quickly
  • Demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and accountability for output
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving digital‑content best practices Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in digital content creation, social media management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience sufficient to successfully perform the primary functions of this position
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Zoom for webinar hosting and virtual collaboration
  • Working knowledge of WordPress for website content creation and management
  • Working knowledge of social media management platforms
  • Working knowledge of email marketing tools such as Constant Contact or Mailchimp
  • Must possess a valid driver's license Experience Preferences
  • Content creation experience for a membership-based or public sector organization
  • Familiarity with learning management systems or member training portals
  • Webinar hosting and production experience Work Environment
  • The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday during regular office hours

$55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
