Full Job Description Job Title:
Insured Relations Specialist Education Requirements:
Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Professional Experience:
2-5 years of relevant professional experience
Core Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong verbal and written communications Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high-volume communications to insureds via multiple methods to gather information and maintain ongoing professional relationships Prepare and assemble document packages for outbound mail communication Receive, scan, and process returned documents; accurately input data into internal systems Communications with medical facilities to request, track, and manage medical records, including ordering and scanning documentation Input and maintain provider and medical facility information to support records requests Monitor and verify receipt of required documentation; establish and organize digital file structures Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact and demographic information in proprietary systems Perform online research and enter relevant data into internal databases Prepare regular internal and external reports that communicate accurate and clear information
Additional Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear, professional correspondence Exceptional time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and document handling Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Work independently and with the ability to collaborate within a team
