Operations Leadership Role Purpose Own the organic social and content strategy from idea through publication, while leading the Creative Production function. This person should be a strong strategist and operator who personally works in the platforms, runs the calendar, makes publishing decisions, directs creative resources, reviews performance and adjusts the plan. They do not need to be the primary videographer or editor; the team already has two videographers and a graphic designer.
Important:
This is not a "make the deck and hand it off" role. The best candidate is a working owner: strategic enough to set direction, operational enough to publish and optimize, and senior enough to lead the creative resources around them. What This Person Owns Organic social strategy and platform strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other relevant channels. National content/editorial calendar, including what gets posted, where, when and why. Hands-on scheduling and publishing; writing/refining captions, tags, collaboration posts and platform setup. Creative priorities and briefs for the videographers, graphic designer and Social Media & Content Specialist. Recurring series, campaigns, executive/personality-led content and nationalization of strong local stories. Performance analysis, testing and optimization based on reach, watch time, engagement, shares, saves and audience growth. Brand consistency across social and creative output while keeping content native to each platform. Day-to-day leadership of the Creative Production function and accountability for work getting across the finish line. Candidate Profile A hands-on senior social/content operator with strong strategic judgment. They can build a plan, but they also enjoy executing it. They should be comfortable opening the publishing tool, making the call on a caption, adjusting the calendar, reviewing a cut, interpreting performance, and moving quickly when the opportunity changes.
Motorcycle fit:
Riding experience is a major plus and strong preference for this seat because cultural fluency matters, but it is not an absolute gate if the candidate is otherwise exceptional. Must-Haves Meaningful experience owning organic social strategy for a brand, media property, sports/lifestyle organization or creator-driven business. Direct experience managing social calendars and personally scheduling/publishing content. Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, including how content behavior differs by platform. Evidence of measurable organic audience or engagement growth. Strong writing/editorial judgment and the ability to shape hooks, copy, concepts and content priorities. Experience directing or leading creative resources such as videographers, editors or designers. Strong analytics instincts; can explain what changed because of what the data showed. Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment without separating "strategy" from "execution." Strong Plus Active motorcycle rider strongly preferred. Not a must have, but you should demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for and the ability to become deeply immersed in motorcycle culture. Experience with executive/on-camera content and recurring social series. Experience building a social/content operation rather than inheriting a fully mature one. Likely Dealbreakers Candidate describes themselves primarily as a creative director, agency manager or brand strategist who delegates execution. Limited direct experience working inside social publishing platforms. Portfolio is mostly polished campaign work with little evidence of ongoing organic social execution. Cannot clearly explain how they used performance data to change content or distribution decisions. Treats posting, QA, captions or platform setup as work that should always be handled by junior staff.
