Job Description

Job Description Primary responsibilities include creating, posting and coordinating first-rate social media posts over multiple platforms, which market and promote the stadium experience, provide customer service and looking for ways to improve our operations. As an intern with the Burlington Bees, you will be an active part of the many facets of the operation, promoting and marketing a college summer baseball organization. The Marketing intern reports directly to the General Manager. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Media Staff production
  • Develop, coordinate and execute promotional events via multiple social media platforms
  • Develop stadium events which enhance the team's presence in the community
  • Solicit sponsors and coordinate their requests with actual stadium promotional events
  • Create and distribute general marketing posts across multiple media platforms
  • Use multiple platforms to present games, and in-game events, as they happen
  • Observe current team marketing methods and recommend updates in keeping with current available marketing methods
  • Cooperate with broadcast personnel to develop marketing video/audio presentation
  • Cooperate with photographer to develop marketing video/audio presentations
  • Create pre
  • and post-game graphics for every game, in cooperation with the coaching staff Start Date Start in mid-May and end first week of August 2026 (start and finish dates are flexible).
Hours Full time. Home game days 9 AM through end of game. Expect to work weekends and special events. This position will likely travel with the team to most away games. Compensation and Benefits Your housing and all utilities are paid for. Housing is provided in Southeastern Community College's Millennial Hall resident apartments. The apartment includes pass key security, full size kitchen, internet connection and cable readiness. These are two bedroom, four bed units. You may visit the residence here: Southeastern | Residence Halls (scciowa.edu) The team provides a free meal each home game. Two meals per day are provided on the road. There is a $150 per month stipend. You will be given a membership to the local full-service YMCA. You may visit the YMCA here: Burlington Area YMCA

org) Qualifications Currently enrolled in a college or university marketing or media program, or similar major. At least a working knowledge of baseball. At least classroom experience in graphic design and distribution. Ability to work in a fast-paced gameday environment. Ability to work with a diverse team in a close environment. We are looking for a talented, self-motivated individual who wants to learn what goes on behind the scenes of high-level collegiate summer baseball team. We value open-minded, conscientious team players possessing a positive attitude and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. Must have excellent writing, computer skills and a willingness to work long hours and weekends.
