Part-Time, Seasonal (Wedding Season)

Schedule:

Weekends required; approx. 8-hour shifts (may run longer depending on event length) About the Role We're looking for a creative, camera-ready Social Media Content Creator to capture and produce engaging content at weddings and events. You'll be the eyes and voice behind our social presence — capturing behind-the-scenes moments, key highlights, and shareable content in real time. Responsibilities Capture photo, video, and short-form content (Reels/TikTok-style clips) throughout the event Conduct on-camera interviews and narration using a hot mic Upload content to offsite cloud for our editor Post a handful of clips or pictures to instagram stories live. Collaborate with the event team and vendors to identify key moments worth capturing Manage equipment (mic, camera/phone rigs, batteries, storage) before, during, and after events Requirements Hot mic training required (training will be provided if not already certified) Comfortable speaking on camera and engaging with guests Experience with social media content creation strongly preferred, but not required — full training provided Reliable availability on weekends throughout wedding season Strong communication and time-management skills Ability to stay energized and professional during long, dynamic event days Basic proficiency (or willingness to learn) mobile/desktop editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Rush, Instagram/TikTok native editors, etc.) Schedule Expectations Primarily weekends during wedding season Shifts typically run ~8 hours , with potential extensions based on event timeline Some flexibility for early arrival/setup and late wrap/breakdown What We Offer Paid training, including hot mic certification Hands-on experience in event content creation and live social media production A fun, fast-paced work environment surrounded by celebrations Opportunity for growth into additional event/content roles
