Project LeanNation (PLN) is looking for a reliable and creative Part-Time Social Media & Content Coordinator to help consistently bring our brand and mission to life across social media. You'll work closely with the business owner, PLN team, and our social media strategist to create and publish relevant, engaging content that supports our business priorities and connects with our local community. This is a hands-on content and social media execution role—not a senior-level marketing strategy position . We're looking for someone who can take direction and ideas and turn them into polished posts, Stories, Reels, and other social content while also bringing fresh ideas to the table. Much of the work can be completed remotely, but you must be able to periodically work from our Plano location and attend select local events to capture authentic photos and video. This is a great opportunity for a college student, recent graduate, freelancer, or emerging social media professional looking to build their portfolio and gain meaningful experience growing a local health and wellness brand. What You'll Do Create, schedule, and publish social media posts, Stories, Reels, and other content. Maintain a consistent posting cadence and execute an established content calendar. Partner with the owner and PLN team to identify relevant and timely content opportunities. Visit our Plano location as needed to capture photos, short-form video, client experiences, team moments, products, and events. Turn raw photos, videos, and ideas into polished, engaging social content. Write clear, engaging captions and strong calls to action. Create basic branded graphics and social assets using Canva or similar tools. Partner with our social media strategist to execute the overall social strategy. Support promotions, community partnerships, events, and other business initiatives through social media. Ensure all content consistently reflects PLN's brand image, voice, mission, and business priorities. Stay current on social media trends and bring forward relevant ideas for the PLN brand. Monitor basic content performance and identify what is generating the strongest engagement. Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Have excellent written communication skills. Understand Instagram, Facebook, Reels, Stories, and short-form video. Have a strong eye for engaging and visually appealing content. Are comfortable taking photos and capturing video with a smartphone. Can perform basic video editing and create social media graphics. Are organized and can independently manage deadlines and a consistent posting schedule. Take initiative and bring ideas forward rather than waiting to be given every content concept. Can follow established brand standards while still being creative. Are collaborative, responsive, dependable, and receptive to feedback. Have an interest in health, wellness, fitness, nutrition, or community-focused businesses. Can consistently dedicate approximately 6-12 hours per week to the role. Are able to periodically work from our Plano location and attend select local events. Preferred Experience Experience or education in social media, marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, graphic design, content creation, or a related field is preferred but not required. Experience with Canva, Instagram Reels, short-form video editing, and social media scheduling tools is a plus. We're open to candidates early in their careers. A large personal social following or years of professional experience are not required. We care most about your creativity, writing ability, reliability, social media instincts, and ability to consistently turn ideas into quality content .
