Creative Media Assistant

We're hiring a Creative Media Assistant to support our content and digital marketing efforts in the Ed Tech space. This is a junior-to-mid level role ideal for a versatile, hands-on creative with some prior media experience who enjoys variety and can jump between tasks efficiently. You won't need to be an expert in everything — just competent enough to deliver quality work with light guidance on our specific products, market, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and edit light graphics, images, and simple visuals using AI tools, Canva, Figma, or similar. Perform occasional product photography using our in-house setup and digital camera. Make quick updates to our WordPress website (text changes, image swaps, basic formatting). Edit podcast episodes in Pro Tools (this is a core requirement). Handle basic video editing for short-form content (reels, clips, simple cuts, text overlays, etc.). Plan, write, and publish organic social media posts across platforms.

Requirements:

At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in media/content creation (graphics, social, audio/video, or web). Proficiency with Pro Tools for podcast editing (non-negotiable). Comfort with basic video editing (Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar). Experience using WordPress for content updates. Familiarity with organic social media posting and writing engaging copy. Ability to work independently on routine tasks while collaborating on bigger projects. Strong attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone who likes being a "jack of all trades" and contributing across multiple areas of our creative workflow. You'll gain deep knowledge of our Ed Tech products while helping bring our content and marketing to life.

Pay:

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
