Qualifications Experience & Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically requires less than two (2) years of related work experience. Proven experience developing and optimizing website content for multiple audiences and business objectives. Strong understanding of UX writing, content formatting, and audience-centered digital communication. Experience creating content that supports discoverability through traditional search and emerging AI-powered search experiences. Understanding of audience journeys, search intent, and how users find and consume information online. Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, user-friendly digital experiences. Experience editing and optimizing existing content to improve usability, readability, and effectiveness. Strong knowledge of website content best practices, including content structure, scannability, information architecture, and accessibility considerations. Experience collaborating with web teams, marketers, strategists, and subject matter experts. Strong editing, proofreading, and quality-control skills. Ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines simultaneously. Experience with content management systems; Sitecore experience preferred.How You Work:

It is designed to help people find what they need, understand it quickly, and confidently take the next step. Compensation & Benefits The expected pay range for this position is $70,000- $80,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
