Computer and equipment provided About the Role We're looking for a technically minded eCommerce Specialist who thrives at the intersection of data, digital marketing, and emerging technology. Reporting to the Director of eCommerce, you'll manage day-to-day marketplace operations with a primary focus on Walmart Marketplace — while leveraging AI tools and automation to drive growth, improve efficiency, and stay ahead of the competition. This isn't a traditional marketing role. You'll dig into data, optimize campaigns programmatically, and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Administration to build scalable eCommerce strategies. Primary Responsibilities Manage and optimize PPC campaigns, adjusting bids, keywords, and targeting based on performance data Optimize product detail pages and SEO elements to maximize organic visibility and conversion rates Monitor the marketplace landscape including competitive activity, campaign performance, POS data, and consumer trends Report weekly on Marketing and Sales KPI analytics with clear, data-driven insights Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to automate reporting, enhance product content, analyze market trends, and identify growth opportunities Identify and implement process improvements through automation, scripting, or system integrations Ensure all eCommerce content is accurate, optimized, and aligned with platform best practices Monitor customer reviews and surface actionable feedback to stakeholders Adapt to evolving business needs and take on special projects as assigned Who You Are Tech-forward problem solver — you're excited about using AI, automation, and data tools to work smarter, not just harder Analytically rigorous with a bias toward action — you translate data into decisions Self-directed and comfortable managing competing priorities with minimal oversight Strong communicator who can present technical insights to non-technical stakeholders Detail-oriented with consistent follow-through on deadlines and deliverables Curious and adaptable — you stay current with emerging eCommerce technologies and aren't afraid to experiment Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with PPC campaign management and SEO/detail page optimization (must-have) Experience with Walmart Marketplace or similar retail marketplace platforms Familiarity with at least one major customer portal: Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, Amazon Vendor Central, or Amazon Seller Central Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated track record of data-driven decision-making Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling) Comfort working with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) to enhance workflows and content Preferred Qualifications — Stand Out With Coding or scripting experience (Python, SQL, JavaScript, VBA, Google Apps Script, or similar) — a strong bonus for candidates who can build automations, pull data via APIs, or create custom reporting tools Experience building or working with dashboards (Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau) Wholesale, DTC, and/or retail industry experience SAP or BOBJ knowledge Experience with multiple customer portals Familiarity with marketplace APIs or product feed management tools Why This Role Is Different This position sits at the forefront of how our eCommerce team is evolving.
