Full-time or Part-time (open to the right fit) About Us For 28 years, Abundance has been one of the few upscale, independent, woman-owned plus-size fashion boutiques in the country. We carry curated designers from around the world, and we've built a loyal clientele from across the country who trust us for style that's classic, funky, dressy, and everything in between. We're growing — both online and in store — and looking for someone to be a true all-around part of that growth, helping our customers in the store and building out our digital presence through Shopify, social media, and email marketing. What You'll Do In the store:- Work directly with customers on our sales floor — helping them find pieces, offering styling advice, and providing the kind of warm, personal service our clientele has come to expect over nearly three decades
- Build genuine relationships with our regulars, many of whom have shopped with us for years
- Support and help run our weekly Facebook Live show
- Create and manage ongoing social media content for our Facebook and Instagram — photos, posts, stories, and reels that reflect our brand and reach our community
- Photograph products for the website and social media, and be comfortable modeling pieces yourself — we shoot every product on a real model On the digital side:
- Upload, edit, and maintain product listings on our Shopify store (titles, descriptions, images, categories, pricing)
- Measure products by hand to write accurate fit details in each product description
- Write clear, engaging product copy that reflects our brand voice
- Build and send email marketing campaigns (Klaviyo experience a plus)
- Keep the storefront organized and up to date — new arrivals, sale sections, collections
- Troubleshoot day-to-day Shopify issues and suggest improvements What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with Shopify (product management, basic theme/customizer familiarity a plus)
- Comfort with email marketing tools (Klaviyo or similar)
- Strong, friendly writing voice — you can make a product description sound like a person wrote it, not a robot
- Detail-oriented and organized; comfortable managing a large, varied catalog
- A genuine connection to plus-size fashion — whether that's personal style, past retail experience, or just real enthusiasm for body-inclusive design. We want someone who gets our customer because they understand the fit and style challenges firsthand
- Warm, patient, and personable with customers — our clientele is largely mature women (50s through 90s), and we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with and caring for this community
- Comfortable wearing many hats in a small, close-knit business
- Comfortable creating and posting social media content for a business on Facebook and Instagram
- Comfortable being photographed as a product model, and skilled (or willing to learn) basic product photography Nice to Have
- Experience with a boutique or independent fashion retailer
- Familiarity with Google Merchant Center / product feed basics How to Apply Send a short note about yourself, your retail and Shopify/email marketing experience, along with any relevant links (past stores you've worked on, writing samples, etc.
