We are expanding rapidly and are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to take ownership of our e-commerce operations across multiple online sales channels. This is not just a typical warehouse shipping position. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with customers, coordinating logistics, and ensuring every order is handled accurately from the time it is placed until it is successfully delivered. Position Summary The E-Commerce Operations Specialist is responsible for managing daily operations for our online sales channels including Amazon, eBay, our website, and future marketplaces. This role oversees order fulfillment, shipping, customer communications, freight coordination, returns, marketplace account health, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is extremely organized and detail oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring every shipment is accurate and on time. They should have experience in E-Commerce activities, and shipping logistics. This role blends daily both the management of online marketplace activities and the fulfillment of online orders by various shipping methods - including printing, pulling and packaging orders, obtaining shipping quotes and managing shipping accounts and rates, customer service and problem resolution for online orders, sales support, and basic warehouse responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Marketplace Operations Manage daily orders from Amazon, eBay, company website, and other online marketplaces Monitor marketplace account health and performance metrics Respond promptly and professionally to customer messages and questions Resolve order issues, shipping delays, cancellations, and returns Handle customer feedback, claims, chargebacks, and marketplace disputes Assist with maintaining accurate product listings and pricing Shipping & Logistics Process daily shipments using UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight carriers Obtain LTL freight quotes and schedule pickups Prepare bills of lading and shipping documentation Coordinate freight deliveries and resolve carrier issues Track shipments and proactively communicate delays File freight damage and carrier claims when necessary Order Fulfillment Verify order accuracy before shipment Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely fulfillment Manage backorders and customer expectations Process returns, exchanges, and warranty requests Maintain high order accuracy and on-time shipping performance Inventory & Operations Monitor inventory availability for online sales Coordinate with purchasing regarding stock shortages Identify process improvements to increase efficiency Assist with developing standard operating procedures Help improve shipping methods and reduce freight costs Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in e-commerce, logistics, shipping, or order fulfillment Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong written and verbal communication Exceptional attention to detail Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly Professional customer service experience Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines Strongly Preferred Amazon Seller Central experience eBay Seller Hub experience Experience with ShipStation or similar shipping software UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or USPS shipping experience LTL freight experience ERP experience (Odoo, NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Finale, etc.) Excel or Google Sheets proficiency Inventory management experience The Ideal Candidate You are someone who: Takes ownership and follows issues through to completion Notices details that others miss Enjoys improving systems and processes Stays calm under pressure Communicates professionally with customers and carriers Learns quickly and adapts to changing priorities Is dependable and self-motivated Wants to grow with a rapidly expanding company Performance Will Be Measured By Order accuracy On-time shipment percentage Customer satisfaction Marketplace account health Shipping cost management Response times to customer inquiries Return resolution Process improvements implemented What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid holidays and PTO Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Stable, growing company with long-term career opportunities Collaborative and supportive work environment If you're looking for a position where you can take ownership, improve processes, and play a key role in a growing company, we'd love to hear from you.
