Schedule:
Approximately 20-28 hours per week , Monday-Friday. Flexible scheduling available based on project and software release needs.
Compensation:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour , based on experience.

Non-Exempt (Hourly) Position Summary VOLT Lighting is seeking a part-time eCommerce QA/UAT Analyst to support our eCommerce and digital technology initiatives through the end of 2026. This role is responsible for testing website enhancements, validating new functionality, identifying software defects, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience before updates are released to production. Working closely with developers, business stakeholders, and the IT team, you will execute test plans, document issues, verify bug fixes, and help improve our software testing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys solving problems and ensuring high-quality digital experiences. This position is ideal for candidates seeking flexible, part-time work in software quality assurance or eCommerce technology, including experienced QA professionals, recent graduates with relevant technical skills, or individuals returning to the workforce with applicable experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Execute functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing for website enhancements and software releases. Validate product pages, navigation, search, promotions, shopping cart, checkout, customer accounts, payments, and shipping functionality. Verify integrations between Magento, NetSuite, Celigo, payment providers, and other connected systems. Develop and maintain test cases, testing documentation, and release checklists. Document software defects with clear reproduction steps and validate fixes with developers. Perform cross-browser and mobile device testing. Participate in release readiness meetings and provide testing recommendations before production deployments. Track testing progress, communicate issues, and assist in improving QA processes and documentation. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, eCommerce support, business systems, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. Preferred Qualifications Experience testing eCommerce websites or web applications. Familiarity with Magento or Adobe Commerce. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar issue-tracking tools. Knowledge of NetSuite, Celigo, APIs, or ERP integrations. Experience performing user acceptance testing and regression testing.
