Job Description

We're a group of growing businesses, an e-commerce brand, a digital marketing/SEO agency, and a couple of other ventures, looking for one sharp, reliable person to help run the operational side of it all. This is a mixed role by design: part of your week will be hands-on operational work (order fulfillment, shipping, customer support), and part of it will be client-facing coordination where you'll need to think on your feet and manage relationships without someone walking you through every step. Same person, same week, not two separate jobs. What you'd be doing: Order fulfillment and shipping coordination for a couple of e-commerce brands Customer support — responding to order issues, tracking questions, and general customer inquiries B2B invoicing, payments, and EDI order processing for wholesale/dealer accounts Onboarding new clients for a digital marketing agency and helping keep their accounts on track Staying on top of deliverables for retainer clients so nothing slips through the cracks General coordination and problem-solving as new things come up — and they come up often What I'm looking for: Someone who can make a reasonable decision on their own and tell me about it afterward, rather than checking in on every little thing Comfortable doing "unglamorous" operational work (packing orders, tracking shipments) in the same week as talking directly with a client Experience with invoicing, billing, or EDI is a real plus — this shows up across multiple parts of the role Someone who notices a problem before it becomes a bigger one, and says something about it without being asked Prior experience supporting a small business owner or working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment is ideal — if you've only ever worked from detailed checklists, this probably isn't the right fit
Details:
Full-time, hybrid, roughly 30-40 hours/week Starting pay: $18-25/hr depending on experience, with growth to $30/hr as you take on more ownership 45-day working period to make sure it's the right fit on both sides To apply: Please include, in your application or cover note, a short (2-3 sentence) answer to this: describe a time you handled a problem or made a decision on your own, without waiting for someone to tell you what to do. Applications without this won't be considered — it's the single most important thing for this role, so I want to see it up front.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location:
Hybrid remote in Lehi, UT 84005
