A growing ecommerce organization is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Senior Ecommerce Manager to lead ecommerce strategy, site optimization, and personalization efforts across multiple online storefronts. This is a player-coach role combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution. The Senior Ecommerce Manager will own the development and execution of site strategy with a focus on driving revenue through improvements in conversion rate, average order value, customer engagement, and lifetime value. This individual will partner closely with Creative, UX, Data, Product, and Marketing teams to optimize the customer journey and deliver increasingly personalized digital experiences. What You'll Do Site Strategy & Revenue Growth Own and drive ecommerce strategy across multiple storefronts, with a focus on improving CVR, AOV, and overall revenue. Develop and execute seasonal and evergreen site strategies, including onsite merchandising, category prioritization, sorting rules, boosting/burying, and product discovery. Use consumer insights and performance data to continuously optimize the onsite experience. Lead monthly site updates and content strategy in partnership with Marketing and promotional calendars. Personalization & Customer Experience Build and scale personalized experiences across homepages, PLPs, PDPs, and product recommendations. Partner with Data Science and Product teams to deploy machine learning-driven recommendation models based on customer segmentation and purchasing behavior. Own the personalization testing roadmap, including hypothesis development, measurement frameworks, rollout, and iteration. Use CDPs, recommendation engines, and experimentation platforms to design and optimize personalized customer experiences. Translate customer journeys and behavioral insights into onsite experiences that improve relevance, engagement, and conversion. Performance Analytics & Optimization Own site reporting and help develop reporting frameworks for key customer segments, connecting performance back to revenue targets. Use A/B and multivariate testing to launch and refine personalization strategies, tying initiatives to measurable CVR, AOV, or LTV impact. Analyze customer behavior to identify actionable opportunities across acquisition, engagement, and retention. Establish measurement standards for personalization lift, segmentation effectiveness, and ROI. Team Leadership Manage and mentor a team of 2-4 ecommerce specialists. Foster a performance-oriented culture centered around data, testing, and continuous optimization. Partner cross-functionally with Creative, UX, Data, Product, and Marketing teams to align priorities and execute initiatives. What You'll Need 5-8+ years of ecommerce experience, including at least 2 years working with a large ecommerce catalog of 2,000+ SKUs. Demonstrated revenue and ROI ownership with accountability for ecommerce site performance. Hands-on personalization experience, including building or scaling recommendation engines and dynamic customer segmentation with measurable results. Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising, customer journeys, conversion optimization, and site performance. Experience developing and managing structured A/B and multivariate testing programs. Strong analytical skills and comfort working with Excel/Google Sheets, BI platforms such as Looker or Tableau, and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics. Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar platforms. Familiarity with personalization platforms, CDPs, and customer data/segmentation tools. Experience managing, mentoring, and developing direct reports. Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.
