About TCG Consulting (TCGC) & TCG Resources (TCGR) At TCGC and TCGR, we partner with leading energy, chemical-processing, and catalysis organizations to deliver data-driven insights that steer strategic decisions. Our projects span market analyses, technical studies, and membership programs empowering clients to stay ahead of industry trends. About the Role This internship is designed for a Chemical Engineering or Materials Science Engineering student interested in market research, catalysis, and the energy transition. The intern will support live consulting engagements focused on catalysis and emerging energy technologies, learning how technical and commercial data are gathered, validated, and synthesized to assess industry players, market dynamics, and technology trends. The role includes direct exposure to challenges in data quality, source credibility, and market interpretation, as well as experience reviewing and editing technical reports. As part of a small, collaborative team, the intern will work closely with experienced industry professionals and academic experts and gain insight into how consulting projects are managed and delivered. What You'll Do Conduct market and industry research on the catalyst sector using public sources Organize and analyze data in Excel for reporting and presentation Validate data by cross-checking multiple sources and documenting references Collect industry news and consolidate it into a weekly newsletter Assist with review and editing of technical reports and research papers Perform targeted literature searches to support client projects Support internal project management and process-improvement initiatives Support social media content creation Assist with miscellaneous tasks in a lean organization What We're Looking For Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field Strong writing and editing skills Strong Excel skills required; PowerPoint a plus Interest in catalysis, chemicals, or the energy transition Detail-oriented, self-motivated, comfortable in a small-team environment How to Apply Interested candidates can apply directly through this posting with a resume.
