Job Summary An established distributor of specialty chemicals and raw materials is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support marketing campaigns, product promotions, reporting, CRM updates, and trade show coordination. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a marketing professional with manufacturing or distribution experience who enjoys a fast-paced, collaborative environment where accuracy, follow-through, and strong communication are valued. The Marketing Assistant will work closely with internal teams, supplier partners, and customers to keep marketing initiatives organized and moving forward. This role offers a supportive team environment, steady business operations, exposure to product marketing, and the opportunity to contribute to customer engagement, sales support, and supplier partner success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate monthly supplier partner reports, compile marketing data, and support campaign tracking.
• Process product sample requests in Datacor, provide tracking information, and follow up with customers.
• Maintain accurate company, customer, and contact records in CRM and ERP systems.
• Coordinate product literature, specifications, pricing information, promotional materials, and product update communications.
• Support trade show registration, booth materials, literature, samples, and meeting schedule coordination.
• Create LinkedIn posts, email campaigns, email signatures, website content updates, and product line card updates.

• Pay Range:

  $27 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.

• Job Type :

  Temp-to-Hire.

• Schedule:

  Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

La Palma, CA. 100% Onsite.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 2+ years of marketing experience.
• Manufacturing or distribution industry experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUP, and PivotTables.
• Experience with Datacor or a similar CRM/ERP system.
• Experience using LinkedIn, email marketing tools, and website content updates.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in specialty chemicals, ingredients, industrial products, or product distribution.
• Prior experience supporting trade shows, supplier partner visits, seminars, or marketing events.
• Familiarity with product line cards, technical specifications, sample coordination, and promotional material management.
