PIXEL (An Immergence Company) creates immersive environments for weddings, corporate events, and live productions through LED displays, cinematic content, lighting, sound, and interactive technology. We're looking for a curious, resourceful Marketing Assistant to work directly with the founder on our marketing, sales systems, content, and go-to-market strategy. This is a paid role with hands-on mentorship and room to grow as the business expands. The schedule and starting pay The position begins with a 60-day paid introductory period at $18 per hour: Two shifts per week, each lasting 4-6 hours: 8-12 hours weekly. Choose your working days and shift times within 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Set your full monthly schedule by the end of the previous month. Your first week schedule will be arranged when you start. All shifts take place in person at our Chico office and studio. Following successful completion of the introductory period, the role will offer increased hours, a higher hourly base rate, and access to commission opportunities. Stock-option participation will also be available subject to the company's equity plan, grant approval, and vesting terms. Specific compensation and scheduling terms will be discussed before that transition. What you'll do Work side by side with the founder to: Build and implement marketing campaigns, sales processes, and our go-to-market strategy. Develop CRM workflows, marketing automation, lead tracking, and follow-up systems. Help create social content, film demonstrations, edit videos, and document our work. Support website content, email campaigns, prospect research, and campaign reporting. Call clients and prospects to confirm interest, appointments, and next steps. Assist with calendars, scheduling, coordination, and other executive-assistant responsibilities. Welcome clients and help support studio demonstrations, open houses, and events. As your skills develop, you can also pursue commission-based sales responsibilities alongside your hourly role: run deals with the founder, manage your own accounts, and earn recurring commissions on qualifying business under an agreed commission plan. Earnings will depend on sales results and plan terms. Modern sales and marketing: positioning, prospecting, discovery, relationship development, pipeline management, and closing. Designing and executing a go-to-market strategy. Using AI agents and automation in business workflows, including implementing AI on private, company-controlled servers. Connecting creative production with customer needs and business results. Communicating with clients, partners, and senior decision-makers. You'll also receive guidance on strengthening your LinkedIn profile, professional positioning, and online presence, with opportunities to build relationships with experienced technology executives, entrepreneurs, and creative professionals through the founder's network.
