A Marketing Assistant or Associate coordinates marketing and advertising activities for a company. Works to promote a company image and assists with developing and implementing marketing strategies. Interacts with customers and vendors, selects advertising outlets, organizes materials and logistics for trade events or conferences.
Entry-level / early career. We are looking for someone with practical, hands-on experience with web and digital marketing tools. A degree is helpful but not required if the candidate has relevant experience or a strong portfolio.
Work Arrangement & Schedule:
Onsite position 30-40 hours per week, depending on the candidate's qualifications and availability, as well as the needs of the Marketing Department Final schedule and number of weekly hours will be determined based on the selected candidate Key Qualifications - in order of importance: 1. WordPress - Required o Hands-on experience updating and maintaining WordPress websites o Comfortable creating/editing pages, uploading images and documents, formatting content, and making routine website updates o Basic understanding of
HTML/CSS
is a plus 2. Adobe Creative Suite - Strongly Preferred o Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign o Able to resize/edit images, make basic graphic changes, and prepare marketing materials o Portfolio or examples of previous design work are a plus 3. CRM / HubSpot Experience - Preferred o Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM/marketing automation platform o Experience maintaining contact data, lists, forms, and other basic CRM functions 4. Digital Photography o Comfortable taking quality product, event, and general marketing photos o Basic photo editing/retouching experience 5. Email Marketing / E-Blasts o Experience building and sending marketing emails/e-blasts o Familiarity with email templates, contact lists, links, images, and basic campaign reporting o HubSpot email experience is a plus 6. Social Media o Experience creating, scheduling, and publishing business social media content o Familiarity with HubSpot or other social scheduling/management tools
