About us: We are a 501(c)3 non-profit that aids veterans in need of professional attire and career path! The organization has been growing rapidly in recent years. We have partnered with the top companies in the nation. We have impacted the community by helping thousands of veterans.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a business oriented student who is self-motivated and willing to learn! We are looking for a hard worker with a great attitude. You will have the opportunity to be part of a grassroots, fast-growing organization!
What you will learn:
The marketing intern will learn various elements of marketing. Interns will learn the basics of marketing with a dynamic focus on nonprofit communications and e-commerce marketing. Interns will also learn about other aspects of marketing including customer service, promotional campaigns, creating promotional materials, creating sales strategies, and inventory/supply management. Interns will assist with content creation. This role requires the intern to be on camera for pre-filmed and live video.. This is a great resume builder for juniors/seniors who are soon to graduate. This internship will give you invaluable experience and look fantastic on your resume!
Duration:
The internship has a rolling start date in September with a target start date of Monday, September 21st (Interns can start earlier if available). The program ends in the first week of December before finals. The required hours are 10-15 hours per week. You choose your own schedule, we are open Monday-Friday 10-5PM.
Location:
This internship will take place in our Bethel, CT office. This is not a remote internship, applicants must be able to commute to our Bethel, CT office.
COVID Policy:
We are observing all state regulations. We are currently operating with limited teams.
Internship Perks:
  • We will sign necessary paperwork from your university for college credit.
  • This is NOT an employment position, this is an internship, but we do give stipends based on exceptional performance and completing the program.
  • Letter of recommendation can be requested after completing of the program.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be currently enrolled in a College or University (part-time or full-time)
  • Sophomore to Senior standing recommended but not required.
  • Must have strong work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written Skills
  • Must be able to use Microsoft office
  • Friendly and outgoing
  • Must be available 10-15 hours per week
  • Must be able to work independently and self-motivate
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Must have transportation
