POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales & Marketing Assistant is a versatile member of the dealership team responsible for supporting the sales department, maintaining the dealership's social media presence, creating photo and video content, and assisting with day-to-day dealership operations. This position also serves as a backup salesperson during busy periods or when additional sales coverage is needed. Key Responsibilities Create, film, edit and post engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other dealership social channels. Develop short-form videos featuring vehicles, dealership promotions, employees, customer deliveries, and dealership events. Photograph new and used inventory and ensure vehicles are properly represented online. Help maintain accurate and attractive online vehicle listings. Move, stage, organize, and locate vehicles on the dealership lot. Assist with vehicle merchandising, including window stickers, signs, and lot presentation. Answer incoming dealership and sales department phone calls and route customers appropriately. Greet customers and assist with basic questions when salespeople are unavailable. Serve as a backup salesperson, working customers and completing vehicle sales when needed. Follow up with leads and customers as directed by sales management. Assist salespeople and managers with vehicle deliveries, test drives, locating inventory, and other sales-related tasks. Help coordinate dealership promotions, events and community activities. Perform other duties necessary to support the sales department and overall dealership operation.

Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for someone energetic, dependable, comfortable on camera, and willing to jump in wherever needed. The right person should understand social media, have an eye for good photos and video, communicate well with customers, and be interested in learning automotive sales. This is not a desk-only position - you'll be creating content one minute, moving a vehicle the next, answering a customer call, and potentially helping sell a car when the showroom gets busy.

Strong communication and customer-service skills Comfortable appearing in and creating social-media videos Basic photo/video editing skills Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and similar platforms Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to work independently and take initiative Automotive or sales experience helpful, but not required Willingness to learn the vehicle sales process

Pay:

$40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
