DOB Administrative Assistant Position Summary :

Students will work with community members and faculty on projects involving starting a business, marketing a new product, completing a business plan, and other business incubator type activities. This is a part-time paid position at $20 per hour.

Responsibilities/Expectations :

Work with supervisors and team on assigned projects. Prepare clear, informative, and timely reports that highlight progress and outcomes for assigned projects and tasks, or as requested by supervisors. Maintain confidentiality. Conduct oneself in a business professional manner and maintain a positive attitude toward the position. Must be a positive role model on and off the job. Must know and abide by all University rules and regulations.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :

Be a full-time undergraduate student currently enrolled as a Business Major or Marketing Minor. Minimum GPA of 2.75 or override approval from department chair. Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised. Good interpersonal skills and desire to be a team player. Experience with customer service- common courtesy in working with students, employees, and the public. Good organization and time management skills.
