We are a local, fine jewelry design and manufacturing retail business located in Downtown Corvallis seeking an in-house Social Media and Marketing Assistant with experience in print and web media. Knowledge of Google ads is a plus. We are looking for someone who can maintain our website by creating content, demonstrating an excellent use of design principles. This is a part-time position with the possibility of full time as a back up on the Sales Floor especially during the holiday months. By joining our team you will be able to expand your knowledge of the fine jewelry business and refine your marketing, design and sales skills. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications: Fine Art Design, Graphic Design, marketing or related discipline Photography with the ability to produce and edit high quality digital images Experience in Adobe Creative Suite understanding design and layout principles Excellent communication skills using proper grammar, punctuation and spelling Ability to manage oneself on multiple projects using excellent time management Retail skills and knowledge of fine jewelry and gemstones is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

The position will report to the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for the design and development of advertising campaigns across multiple platforms such as Google, TV, Social Media, Newspaper, Billboards, Web, etc. Produce high resolution product images and videos Update website regularly with new content and edit any changes to inventory Content creation for marketing purposes Manage online presence and marketing strategies Occasional sales floor and phone support is also an aspect of this position so business casual attire is required
