Position Overview We currently have an opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to join our team in Michigan. The title for this role will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience. This position will be based out of our Lansing, MI office with WFH flexibility and designated office days. Working closely with the marketing and technical staff, this role oversees the tactical day-to-day execution of marketing plan action items and supports business development efforts. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and resources, this role is responsible for the quality, timely, and efficient execution of proposals and other marketing deliverables. Key Responsibilities Coordinates development of marketing communication deliverables including copy writing, graphic coordination, proofreading and production of proposals, brochures, presentations, outbound email marketing campaigns, press releases and other promotional items as requested. Participates in and champions the proposal work process from go/no-go decision through proposal drafting, submission, and follow-up. Actively offers advice to the proposal team on staff credentials and project experience that align with the opportunity. Helps identify potential "win themes" and ensures themes are carried into the final deliverable. Creates and maintains marketing campaign data and analytics, marketing list database, and client marketing information within CRM. Organizes and maintains an electronic filing system and physical inventory of all marketing materials. Supports the Business Development function by providing marketing metrics, research, and ad hoc reports as required. Participates in BD meetings and marketing planning sessions. Assists with event and meeting planning. Occasional travel to other offices and some extended hours may be required. Requirements A.S. in marketing or communications with relevant experience or
B.A./B.S.
is desired. 5 - 10+ years of experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experienced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher) Knowledge of HTML and Social Media content management a plus. Some familiarities with CRM databases, ESPs, and/or Adobe InDesign are helpful. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines. Problem solver who can work with minimal supervision and multiple project stakeholders. Ability to understand and convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Ability to interact with clients and other professionals outside the organization Outside sales experience a plus but not required. Compensation & Benefits Starting salary range: $74,000 - $89,000 + annual performance bonus. Comprehensive benefits package plus 401(k) & ESOP with unlimited company match.
