Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Social Media & Marketing Assistant to join our team on a remote, part-time basis. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our digital presence, crafting engaging content, managing social media platforms, and supporting marketing campaigns that elevate our brand visibility. Duties Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create compelling visual content using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite to support marketing campaigns and social media posts. Manage scheduling and publishing of posts using tools like Hootsuite and Buffer to ensure consistent online presence. Conduct social listening to monitor brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activity to inform content strategy. Optimize content for SEO by performing keyword research and integrating relevant keywords into posts and blog articles. Analyze web traffic and social media metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure campaign performance and identify growth opportunities. Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases, managing relationships with media outlets, and coordinating outreach activities. Assist in planning and executing Facebook Advertising campaigns to target specific audiences effectively. Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly to foster community relationships. Contribute to branding initiatives by maintaining consistent messaging across all digital channels. Collaborate with the team on e-commerce promotions, product launches, and digital marketing strategies that drive sales. Capture high-quality photography and videos for social media content creation; edit videos using basic video editing tools as needed. Skills Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing strategies. Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite applications. Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research techniques, and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics. Familiarity with social listening tools and platforms like Hootsuite or Buffer for scheduling and monitoring posts. Ability to create engaging content including images, videos, blogs, and captions tailored for different audiences. Experience with Facebook Advertising campaigns and understanding of paid social media promotion strategies. Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for detail in branding consistency across channels. Strong relationship management skills for engaging with followers, partners, media contacts, and influencers. Basic photography skills for capturing compelling visual content; familiarity with video editing software is a plus. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing techniques to support online sales efforts.
