Events/Marketing Assistant (Full-Time, In-Person) Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse The Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Events/Marketing Assistant. This individual will work closely with the Events/Marketing Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and successful fundraising, community outreach, and special events that advance the Center's mission. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with designated committees to plan and execute event-related activities. Meet with vendors, sponsors, and community partners to coordinate event logistics and support. Assist with event setup, execution, and cleanup to ensure successful event operations. Run errands as needed, including obtaining supplies, decorations, and other event materials. Work collaboratively with the Board of Directors, Exchange Club members, staff, and volunteers to facilitate the development, implementation, and successful completion of events. Provide administrative and organizational support for events and marketing initiatives as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Development, Fundraising, Public Relations, or a related field. Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in event planning, marketing, fundraising, or a similar role. Self-motivated individuals with demonstrated leadership abilities. Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive professional relationships.
