Job Description
About the Role This position is a great fit for someone who is organized, motivated, people-oriented, and comfortable with both marketing support and sales. The Marketing Assistant will help with day-to-day agency needs while also assisting with new business development, client follow-up, and sales opportunities. Responsibilities The Marketing Assistant will support the Media Advantage team with client communication, campaign coordination, sales outreach, proposal support, research, scheduling, and project follow-up. This role may include helping identify potential clients, following up with leads, assisting with sales presentations, communicating with current and prospective clients, and supporting the team in moving projects from idea to execution. Duties May Include
- Assisting with client projects and marketing campaign coordination
- Helping with sales outreach and new business development
- Following up with leads, prospects, and current clients
- Assisting with proposals, presentations, reports, and marketing materials
- Communicating with clients, vendors, and team members as needed
- Scheduling meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items
- Helping organize social media calendars, campaign plans, and marketing ideas
- Researching potential clients, competitors, audiences, and trends
- Supporting event promotions and community marketing efforts
- Tracking deadlines, deliverables, and project updates
- Assisting with basic content writing, proofreading, and idea development
- Supporting sales, client relations, and account management efforts Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and people skills
- Comfortable with sales, outreach, and client follow-up
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Confident speaking with clients, prospects, vendors, and team members
- Basic understanding of marketing, advertising, or social media
- Writing, proofreading, or content planning experience is a plus
- Canva or light design experience is a plus
- Sales, customer service, or account management experience is a plus
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
