Job Description
Working under the direction of the Grants & Outreach Coordinator, the Assistant II - Outreach & Marketing supports coordinated outreach, recruitment, and program visibility efforts for both the CARE Hub and Wee Care Center, dedicating approximately 50% of their time to each program. This position develops and disseminates marketing materials, manages social media and digital communications, and coordinates targeted outreach strategies to increase awareness and utilization of services among student-parents and the broader campus community. The Assistant Coordinator supports storytelling, promotional campaigns, and engagement initiatives that advance access to basic needs resources and affordable childcare while ensuring consistent messaging aligned with CARE Hub and CCAMPIS program goals. Support coordinated outreach, recruitment, and program visibility efforts for the CARE Hub and Wee Care Center by developing, coordinating, and disseminating marketing and communication materials. Create print and digital resources, including flyers, brochures, newsletters, digital signage, website content, email communications, and other promotional materials that increase awareness of programs, services, events, and available resources. Manage social media and digital communications for both programs by developing engaging content, maintaining communication calendars, monitoring audience engagement, and ensuring consistent branding and messaging. Utilize Qualtrics, social media insights, website analytics, and other assessment tools to collect, track, and analyze outreach and engagement data. Prepare reports and recommendations that evaluate communication effectiveness, measure program visibility, and inform continuous improvement of outreach and recruitment strategies. Implement targeted outreach and engagement strategies that increase awareness and utilization of CARE Hub and Wee Care Center services among student-parents and the broader campus community. Represent both programs at campus events, orientations, resource fairs, presentations, and outreach activities while fostering collaborative relationships with campus and community partners. Support outreach campaigns, program communications, and engagement initiatives that promote access to basic needs resources and affordable childcare. Ensure communication efforts remain consistent with CARE Hub, Wee Care Center, and CCAMPIS program goals, messaging, and objectives. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field and one year of related experience; OR any combination of education and experience related to the summary of duties totaling three years. Experience creating marketing materials, managing social media or digital communications, coordinating outreach initiatives, or supporting marketing and communication efforts.
