Marketing Assistant for the Washington County Dixie Center
FULL TIME WITH BENEFITS
$22.15 per hour Are you creative, organized, and passionate about marketing, customer service, and community engagement? Washington County is seeking a Marketing assistant to join the team at the Dixie Center. In this dynamic role, you'll help promote one of Southern Utah's premier event venues while supporting daily operations, creating marketing content, and ensuring visitors have an exceptional experience. You'll also oversee the Rosenbruch Museum Gift Shop, making this a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
Create and manage social media content and assist with website updates Design marketing materials, signage, flyers, brochures, and digital advertisements Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk and assist event clients Support administrative operations, bookkeeping, and office organization Manage the daily operations of the Rosenbruch Museum Gift Shop, including inventory, merchandising, and vendor relationships Supervise gift shop sales associates and seasonal employees, including scheduling and training Coordinate educational tours and assist with special projects and events
What We're Looking For:
Creative, organized, and detail-oriented Excellent customer service and communication skills Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with social media, marketing, and Microsoft Office applications Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in communications, public relations, tourism, visitor services, or a related field (experience in the convention or hospitality industry preferred); OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.
