We are a design-build contractor based in Ferndale, serving Whatcom and Skagit counties. We design and build ADUs, additions, remodels and outdoor living spaces such as patios, decks, outdoor kitchens and full-property landscapes. One team handles the design, the permits and the construction. We have more than 126 Google reviews and are a 2026 Best of the Northwest winner in Bellingham Alive's readers' choice awards. We finish projects every month that almost nobody sees, because no one on our team has time to photograph and film them. That is this job. You will capture our work from the first site visit to the finished space, in photos, video, drone footage and 3D scans, and turn it into content for our website, Google profile, social media and marketing campaigns. You will work with our marketing manager, who runs our ads and website, and with our project managers, who tell you what is happening on site and when. Most days you will be on job sites. The rest of the time you will edit and organize footage at our Ferndale office. This is not a phone or front-desk role. What you will do Photograph and film each project before work starts, at key milestones, and when it is finished Shoot horizontal for the website and vertical for Instagram and Reels on every visit Deliver a finished photo and video set for each completed project within 7 days Run 3D property scans with Matterport for our design team Fly drone photo and video where it is allowed Edit short videos for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, and post to our Google Business Profile every week Film client testimonials, with each client's written consent Keep our photo and video library organized by project Make simple graphics for awards, before-and-after posts and ads What we are looking for A portfolio of photo or video work. Real estate, construction, events or social media content all count Skilled with a gimbal camera Able to edit video in CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve or similar Comfortable working around crews and equipment, following job-site safety rules, walking uneven ground and carrying camera gear A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for driving between job sites Organized and able to work from a shot list without someone standing over you An FAA Part 107 drone certificate, or willing to get one A plus: Matterport or other 3D scanning, real estate photography, Canva or Adobe design tools, an eye for architecture and landscapes How we measure the job Every week we look at the photo and video sets delivered for finished projects, posts published to our Google profile and social media, and scans completed on the day they were booked.
