Job Description
Position Summary The Assistant Director of Marketing is responsible for serving as the day-to-day operating and execution leader for Medivant Health s marketing team. This role works closely with the Marketing Director and provides leadership and coordination across four key marketing functions: Events; Social Media, Influencer & Creatives; Paid Media; and Market Admin. The Assistant Director translates strategic marketing priorities into clear workflows, campaign plans, timelines, and team priorities while ensuring effective execution across multiple campaigns and workstreams. This is a hands-on people-management role responsible for leading, mentoring, coordinating, and holding team members accountable for delivering high-quality work on schedule. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing leader with strong organizational, project management, people-management, and cross-functional coordination skills. The role serves as the primary point of coordination and escalation between the Marketing Director and the junior marketing team and plays a critical role in scaling Medivant Health s marketing function. Key Responsibilities Execution Leadership Serve as the day-to-day execution lead across the four marketing functions, ensuring work remains aligned, prioritized, and on schedule. Translate the Marketing Director s strategic priorities into clear team workflows, campaign plans, and weekly/monthly priorities. Own the marketing calendar and campaign timelines, coordinating dependencies across teams and ensuring deliverables remain on track. Monitor multiple campaigns and workstreams simultaneously and ensure timely execution. Team Management & Coordination Directly manage and mentor the Events, Social Media/Influencer/Creatives, Paid Media, and Market Admin leads. Set priorities, review work, and hold team members accountable for deadlines and quality standards. Serve as the primary escalation point between the Marketing Director and the junior marketing team. Resolve day-to-day blockers and operational issues before they require Director-level involvement. Foster collaboration across the four marketing functions to ensure campaigns are executed as one integrated effort. Campaign Oversight Oversee integrated marketing campaigns spanning events, social media/influencer activities, paid media, and creative initiatives. Ensure consistent messaging, brand execution, and coordination across marketing channels. Partner with the Events lead on trade shows, conferences, HCP events, and on-ground marketing activations. Partner with the Social Media, Influencer & Creatives lead on channel strategy, content calendars, and KOL/influencer partnerships. Partner with the Paid Media lead on paid social and search execution, budget pacing, and performance optimization. Partner with Market Admin on budget tracking, vendor coordination, and reporting accuracy. Performance & Reporting Establish and monitor KPIs across all four marketing functions. Consolidate performance data into clear and regular reporting for the Marketing Director. Monitor campaign and team performance to identify execution risks, resource gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Recommend solutions to address execution risks and resourcing challenges. Stakeholder Communication Communicate marketing priorities, timelines, deliverables, and results clearly across the marketing team. Provide regular execution updates and performance information to the Marketing Director. Represent the marketing team s execution status in cross-functional discussions with Sales and other departments. Maintain strong coordination between Marketing, Sales, and company leadership.
