Job Description

Content Manager Retail Reinvented West Hollywood, CA Job Details Full-time $95,000 - $135,000 a year 1 hour ago Qualifications SEO content optimization Marketing campaign leadership AI tools proficiency Mid-level Team development Data-driven content Brand identity design Promotional video projects Generative AI Managing media, arts or design teams Art direction Full Job Description About Retail Reinvented Retail Reinvented is a small, fast-moving agentic commerce agency. We build and operate AI-native commerce platforms for lighting and complex-product manufacturers, and we run our own products. About the role Retail Reinvented builds agentic commerce. We're an AI-native agency and the team behind ConfigIQ — a neurosymbolic product intelligence platform that gives complex manufacturers a product model machines can actually reason over. We work with lighting and complex-product brands: French Market Lanterns, The CopperSmith, Anthology Lighting. The last decade of commerce content was written for a search engine that returned ten blue links. That engine is being replaced. Buyers now ask an assistant, and the assistant answers — from structured data, cited sources, and video it can parse. Almost nobody has rebuilt their content operation for that. We intend to, for ourselves and for every client we run. We're small, we ship fast, and we automate before we hire. This is a founding creative seat, not a slot on an existing team. What you'll do Campaign ownership. Run content campaigns end to end for Retail Reinvented and client brands — hypothesis, production, launch, measurement, iteration. Every cycle should raise the bar on the last, and you should be able to say why it did. AI video production. Produce and edit short-form and long-form video using AI tooling — generation, editing, motion, voice, upscaling. You direct the output; the tools execute. Volume without a drop in taste is the whole point of the role. Search and answer-engine optimization. Build content that ranks in traditional search and gets retrieved and cited by AI assistants. Structured data, entity clarity, citable claims, and video optimized for machine parsing — not just human viewing. Creative direction. Set the visual standard across brands with genuinely different identities. Write the briefs, define the look, hold the line on quality when the fast option is worse. Team building. Grow into directing a small pod — contractors, creators, and eventually client-side teams. You'll write the playbook others run. What we look for A real eye. You can look at two versions and know which is better, and articulate why in a sentence. This is the part we can't teach and won't compromise on. Show us work, not a résumé. Fluency with AI production tools. You've shipped real work through them — not experiments. You know where they break and how to route around it. Reasoning ability. You think from first principles about what content should exist and why. You're skeptical of tactics that worked in 2022. Drive. You own outcomes, not tasks. You'd rather ship something sharp on Friday than something safe next month. Direction, not just execution. You can brief someone else to produce work you'd be proud of. Los Angeles based . This role is on-site in Los Angeles. Not hybrid, not remote-first. If that's a dealbreaker, it's better to know now. •Formal credentials are irrelevant here. A portfolio that makes us stop scrolling beats a degree every time. The pay range for this role is: 95,000 - 135,000 USD per year(Los Angeles)
