Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Overview:
The Branch Operations Manager manages daily driver route assignments while utilizing technology provided by the Logistics Department. The Manager has the responsibility to ensure the Service Technicians meet the needs of the customers while complying with DOT regulations including time worked and time driven as well as all applicable regulations. Compensation between $115,000 and $125,000 annuallyLocation:
12740 Vigilante Rd, Lakeside Customer Excellence Communicate openly with customers in a courteous and professional manner Take a proactive approach to customers, build a relationship, communicate, visit face to face and by phone, prevent issues before they become a problem, resolve any issues quickly and completely Meet customer expectations for on-time performance and service quality Safety and Compliance Set the example for making safety the top priority Ensure LES safety processes and standards are adhered to and the team maintains the proper level of risk awareness Communicate safety expectations clearly and openly Know, understand, and comply with the regulations & permitting requirements for all entities in your area of responsibility. Perform routine safety walkarounds and inspections In the event of an emergency or accident take the lead and follow company protocol for reporting and resolution. This includes initiating a root cause analysis meeting with your RVP and EHS partners. Assure daily vehicle inspections are performed, and exceptions are resolved timely. Operating Excellence Manage, direct, and lead all functions within a branch. Primary areas of accountability include productivity, overtime management, hours per stop, service quality and timeliness, and asset and fleet management Monitor daily route compliance to assure routes are performed as designed Ensure that your service fleet is operating at a high standard. Perform vehicle Inspections on all vehicles regularly. Work closely with the fleet maintenance providers to ensure the best possible service for the vehicles and equipment (visit once or twice monthly).- Maintain an on-hand inventory of supplies/tools and commonly needed equipment to minimize lost time due to outages while preventing overstocking. Must be familiar with standard Company practices and procedures when assigning routes or taking customer calls. Perform Route Observations to assure service quality and good driving behavior People Engagement_

- Communicate openly and clearly Hire high-quality team members and train them effectively for the job Develop employees including conducting annual performance appraisals with Field Service Technicians and office staff Business Performance_
- Responsible for the P&L and implementation of an annual yearly business plan for the branch, along with branch strategies. The Branch Operations Manager is expected to meet monthly revenue goals and stay within monthly budgeted expenses. Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years in management and or leadership experience Bilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred Experience managing DOT-regulated drivers and vehicles - preferred 4-year degree in related field- preferred Demonstrated good people skills, decision-making ability, and problem-solving.
