From the age of 15, John II began working his way from the warehouse to departments like customer service, product development and marketing for the company with his dream of working with his dad just like John Sr did with the Ole Man. Job Summary
  • The Digital Marketing Manager owns The McLemore Boys digital presence and turns company priorities into coordinated, measurable campaigns across social media, themclemoreboys.com, digital advertising, email and other online channels.
  • This role works closely with the Brand and Events Manager, the content production team, including the videographer and editor, and the PR Manager to keep messaging, creative, campaign timing and audience engagement aligned across every marketing touchpoint.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Own the digital marketing strategy and day-to-day execution for The McLemore Boys, connecting business goals to clear channel plans, campaigns, timelines and results. Manage all brand social media accounts, including content scheduling, publishing, captions, community engagement, social listening and timely response or escalation of audience questions and issues. Build and maintain an integrated digital content calendar that coordinates product initiatives, recipes, partnerships, appearances, events, PR moments and evergreen storytelling. Partner with the Brand and Events Manager to create digital plans that promote events before, during and after each activation and extend the value of in-person experiences online. Partner with the videographer and editor to translate campaign goals into content briefs, shot lists, formats, cutdowns, thumbnails and platform-specific deliverables, while managing review, approval and publishing deadlines. Collaborate with the PR Manager to align announcements, media appearances, launches and sensitive communications, and amplify earned media through the appropriate digital channels. Own themclemoreboys.com content and ongoing optimization, including page updates, landing pages, search engine optimization, user experience, conversion paths, analytics and coordination with technical partners when needed. Create and adapt on-brand graphics and digital creative for social media, the website, email, paid campaigns, events and PR support; maintain reusable templates and organized source files. Plan, launch and optimize paid social and digital campaigns, including budgets, targeting, creative testing, performance monitoring and recommendations for improvement. Manage digital asset organization, naming, usage rights, links and campaign tracking so the marketing team can quickly find and use approved content. Track and report key performance indicators such as reach, audience growth, engagement, website traffic, conversions and return on advertising spend; turn findings into practical next steps. Monitor platform changes, audience behavior, cultural trends and competitor activity, and recommend relevant opportunities without compromising the brand voice. Protect consistency across digital channels by following brand standards, accessibility practices, platform policies, privacy requirements and approval processes. Be solution driven, growth minded, curious, creative and a dependable team player. Perform all other duties as assigned. Job Requirements and Qualifications
  • Four or more years of hands-on digital marketing experience, preferably with a consumer, food, lifestyle, entertainment or personality-led brand.
  • Demonstrated experience managing brand accounts across major social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Strong graphic design skills and proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva, with a portfolio of digital work preferred.
  • Working knowledge of website content management systems, search engine optimization, Google Analytics 4, campaign tracking and digital reporting.
  • Experience planning and optimizing paid social or digital advertising campaigns, including budgets, audiences, testing and performance analysis.
  • Excellent writing, editing and visual judgment, with the ability to adapt messaging and creative for different channels while maintaining one clear brand voice.
  • Practical understanding of photo and video production workflows and how to brief, review and repurpose content for platform-specific use.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, approvals and cross-functional partners.
  • Self-directed, collaborative and comfortable taking ownership from idea through execution, measurement and improvement.
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, design or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
