I own Capitol Family Exteriors. We install about a job a day across Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia. I built a system to warm up every neighborhood we work. Digital door knocking first, then real door knocking. By the time you knock, they've already gotten a rendering of their own house in the mail. I'm looking for one person to own this entirely. Every house around a jobsite gets a postcard with a rendering of THEIR house on it. Not a stock photo. Not a generic before-and-after. Their actual house, their actual street, with a new roof or new siding or a new color on it. Nobody throws that away. They show their spouse. They stick it on the fridge. If you've ever knocked doors, you already know what that does to the conversation on the porch. If you get this concept, you get it. If you don't understand this value, please move on to the next job listing. When a homeowner calls off a postcard around your jobsite, that's your credit. This is where you have the opportunity to earn your first dollar, before you've knocked a single door. Then you knock, and they already know what's in their mailbox. On the jobsite, you make sure there's a tent, signage and samples set up to make a big show. You'll also find and run community events, and I'll give you a budget to do it. You earn at every stage of that funnel. The postcard gets a homeowner to call, you get paid. You knock and set one, you get paid. Someone walks up to the tent or meets you at an event, you get paid. Most companies pay you on the door and keep the rest. I don't. But it's not easy money. Those calls come in at 6:40 on a Tuesday night and 9 on a Saturday morning, and they're worth $75 to $325 each only if you pick up. Miss them and they're gone. If you're not ready to take every call, make every confirmation call, and do whatever it takes to turn a warm street into signed jobs, don't apply. I'm not looking for a door knocker. I'm looking for the top producer who got paid like everyone else and wants to run something that's theirs. Which jobs get a campaign, when the cards drop, when you walk it, what happens at the tent, which events are worth the budget, that's yours. We do a job a day. You'll never run out of warm streets. The tools are built. What I can't build is consistency. 100 doors a day, every door logged, every missed call returned inside five minutes, 8am to 8pm, seven days. Do that on top of what I've set up and the results will be there. Pay. $75 per appointment that sits. $250 per one that signs. Any channel. $500 bonus at 15 signed jobs in a month, $1,000 at 20. $18 an hour floor while you ramp. 8 jobs a month is $48,000 a year. 12 is $72,000. 15 is $96,000. 20 is $131,000. What I hold you to is volume. 40 appointments set and 28 that sit in your first 30 days, 60 set and 42 sat a month by day 90. Our closers sign about one in four. You control the sets and the sits, they control the close, and you'll know where you stand every Friday. 7,240 homes. 5.0 on Google, 445 reviews. Zero BBB complaints. GAF Master Elite. Debt free. Family owned and run since my dad started roofing in Bowie in the 80s. One seat. W-2, mileage and training paid, weekly one-on-one with me. Click apply, answer the questions, and you'll hear from me within 48 hours if it's you. Equal Opportunity Employer Pay:
$48,000.00 - $131,000.00 per year
Benefits:
Professional development assistance Application Question(s): Your best month ever in appointments set or sales closed. Give the number, what it was for, and what you did differently that month. Have you ever told a customer not to buy, or walked away from a sale you could have closed? What happened?
And separately:
tell us about a time you took a work call you technically did not have to. Read the posting. In your own words, why does a rendering of the homeowner's own house on the postcard change what happens at the door? What's the most doors you've knocked in one day, and what came of it? A $500 mail drop to 143 homes around one of our jobsites gets us two leads today. You would have a three-postcard sequence, your own phone line, a tool that texts homeowners a rendering of their house, and your feet. Lay out how you would get that to six. Timing, sequence, what you would say at the door. This is the most important question.
